Today we worked on a project that required the planning and making of a flotation device for our little friend, swedish fish! Also, they worked on seeing how much money swedish fish could take along on her trip. below are some videos of our test runs with the boats and we also counted coins to see how many they could carry! it was great fun. Ms. smith and ms. van meter did a great job with the class today. thank you!!! Our class had a wonderful time getting to know the author of amelia bedelia today! herman parish shared many stories of his own and of the original author of amelia bedelia, peggy parish, his aunt. ask the children about the amazing amelia bedelia sighting today - yes, she made an appearance at eanes elemnetary!
The ipads are here! Well friends, between my fall and this horrible virus I have had, i have been falling behind on my duties. sorry it has been a while. I am sure you have heard that we have our classroom ipads up and running. the children love working on them daily! Here are some pics of our introduction to the ipads with ms. smith. |
